Other
Organised Events.
There is a huge number of organised events taking place around the country each year (running, walking, swimming, cycling, etc) We should be delighted to support your participation in any of these; we are usually prepared to pay the entry fee if you guarantee to raise a specific level of sponsorship. And, if you want to share the sponsorship funds raised with another charity at the same time, we can arrange that, too.
So please contact Berkeley Wilde to discuss your requirements, or if you need help in finding an event. |

Celebrate
Your Birthday
If you have reached the age when you no longer need a large pile of presents, but you still want to give a party, why not ask your guests to make a donation to the Royal Blind Society instead. If you would like to mark a milestone in your life in this, contact Berkeley Wilde, who will supply you with invitation cards, ideas, GiftAid forms, etc.
Or, if you prefer something more active, follow the example of one of our supporters who marked his 60 th birthday with a 25-mile sponsored walk, joined by over 60 friends and relations. They had a wonderful day, and raised a magnificent £4,500 to fund the Royal Blind Society’s work. |
